Iran exported 771,000 tons of non-oil goods worth $300.2 million to the Republic of Azerbaijan during the first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), which indicates a 126% rise in value compared with the similar period of a year before. Gas, chemicals, cement, chocolate, tiles, potato, dates and beverages were among the main exported commodities, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported. More than 88,000 tons of goods valued at $28.6 million, including steel ingots, wood, vehicles, millet, oilcake, cotton, road headers and excavators were imported from the neighboring country, which shows a 167% year-on-year rise in value.
