A total of 6,021 flights were operated by 14 domestic airlines during the Iranian month ending on Sept. 21, out of which 3,388 or 56.2% were delayed, a report by Iran Civil Aviation Organization showed.
Iran Aseman Airlines had the highest number of operated flights with 890, followed by Iran Air with 712, Mahan Air with 674 and Zagros Airlines with 643 flights, Mehr News Agency reported.
Flag carrier Iran Air had the highest share of delayed flights, with 66% of flights. Taban Air and Iran Aseman Airlines were next with 64%.
