Iran imported over 905 kilograms of suture thread worth $15,191 in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2016). According to figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, Germany was the main exporter to Iran in the period with 282 kg of suture thread worth $25,483, followed by India that sold 257 kg worth $38,274, Young Journalists Club reported.
