TIIE 2016 Underway in Tehran

The 16th Tehran International Industry Exhibition, otherwise known as TIIE 2016, opened at Tehran’s International Permanent Fairgrounds on Wednesday. The four-day event hosts 406 domestic and 527 foreign companies from 27 countries including, but not limited to, Germany, China, France, the UK, Turkey, Finland, Belgium and India. TIIE is the leading capital goods show in the Middle East, focusing on metal-working machinery and equipment, industrial automation, technical and engineering services, material handling and other industrial accessories. The exhibition is seeing a 45% rise in the number of foreign companies participating this year, IRNA reported.
