The government seeks to increase the share of industries in GNP to 25 percent by 2025 from its current 20 percent, Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, the minister of industry, mine, and trade said on the sidelines of the 10th Iran International Water and Wastewater Exhibition in Tehran, ILNA reported on Wednesday. The minister vowed that the government will pave the way for different industries to boost their production and pointed out that, currently, Iran is self-sufficient in producing different types of water equipment.
