1.1m Households Participate in Online Census

Close to 1.1 million households participated online in the eighth round of the National Population and Housing Census since it began on Sept. 24 up to 6 a.m. on Oct. 3, according to the head of Statistical Center of Iran. “So far, more than 3.6 million people have registered in this year’s census,” Omid Ali Parsa was quoted as saying by IRNA. The eighth round of Population and Housing Census began on September 24 and will run through November 15. This round will be conducted in two phases: online registration (September 24-October 15) and door-to-door survey (October 16-November 15).
