Iran exported 333,800 tons of non-oil goods worth $216.2 million to Italy in the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), registering a 4% decline in value compared with last year’s corresponding period. Steel products, petrochemicals, aluminum, stone, animal hide and pistachios were the main exported commodities, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. Last fiscal year’s (March 2015-16) exports from Iran to Italy stood at $774.6 million, indicating a 26% rise over the preceding year.
