An agreement to establish an Iranian Bazaar in Oman was signed by Muscat and Tehran on Monday, which will be built in an area of 40,000 square meters and showcase a variety of Iranian products.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a major exhibition of Omani products in Tehran, the Omani newspaper Times of Oman reported.

The so-called OPEX exhibition opened on Monday at the Tehran International Exhibition Center under the auspices of Iranian Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.

The participating Omani firms are representing industries, including minerals, furniture, food, medical and pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, plastic and metal equipment, perfume and leather.

The expo will run until September 30.
