Iran exported 57,500 tons of non-oil goods worth $4 million to the Philippines during the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), registering a 63% decline in value compared with last year’s corresponding period. Minerals, petrochemicals, carpet, saffron and raisins were the main exported commodities, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. More than 41,700 tons of goods worth $33.4 million were imported, which registered a meager change of less than 1% year-on-year. Bananas, pineapples, deodorants and textile machinery were among the main imports.
