Iran exported 543 tons of non-oil goods worth $2 million to Switzerland in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), registering a 48% rise in value compared with last year’s corresponding period. Petrochemicals, carpet, saffron, pistachios and marble were the main exports, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. More than 825,500 tons of goods worth $367.4 million were imported from the European country to Iran, which indicates a 49% decline. The imported commodities included corn fodder, oilcake, soybean, pharmaceuticals, grain, watches and medical equipment.
