Cypriot Health Minister George Pamborides is in Iran on an official visit at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Hassan Hashemi. Sigmalive also reported on Thursday that Pamborides is accompanied by representatives of the island’s three medical universities and various pharmaceutical companies. During the visit, the two sides will sign a memorandum of understanding in the fields of health, pharmaceutical products and equipment, the Cypriot news agency reported, adding that the MoU will provide opportunities to expand bilateral technical and scientific cooperation in the fields of health, medicine, research and pharmaceutical science, and boost cooperation to achieve the highest possible medical standards, an official statement said.
