Iran exported 493 million tons of non-oil goods worth $33.8 million to Qatar during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21), registering a 33.5% drop in value compared with last year’s corresponding period. Steel products, minerals, cement, carpet, saffron and pistachios were among the main exports, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported. More than 1,000 tons of goods worth 2.8 million were imported from the neighboring country, which indicates a 170% surge in value year-on-year. The main imports included engine oil, dairy manufacturing machinery, helium gas, lift trucks and industrial parts.
