Yerevan to Host Forum on Iran-EEU Cooperation

An economic forum will be held in Yerevan on September 20 to explore ways of boosting cooperation between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenian Economy Minister Artsvik Minasyan announced. According to Minasyan, some 200 senior officials from Iran and EEU are expected to attend the gathering in the Armenian capital. The forum will be held on the sidelines of an exhibition called “Made in Armenia” from September 19 through September 22. Delegations from Russia, Georgia, Iran, the United States, Japan and other countries have been invited, Armenia’s ARKA News Agency quoted Minasyan as saying. The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
