Officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq have signed five contracts with their Iranian counterparts to improve economic cooperation, Mostafa Abdallah, the head of exporters and importers union of Iraqi Kurdistan told IRNA. The Kurdish official, during a visit to the western province of Hamedan, announced that he also aims to ink a contract with Hamedan’s chamber of cooperatives in a bid to expand bilateral trade with local businesses. Abdallah and his accompanying delegation made the remarks in a meeting with the governor general of Hamedan on Monday.
