Meeting With Afghan Traders

Senior advisor to the president and Secretary of the High Council of Free Zones Akbar Torkan and Afghanistan’s Minister of Commerce and Industries Homayoun Rasa, will chair a meeting today in Kabul between Iranian and Afghan merchants. Economic players from the two sides are expected to discuss proposals for improving bilateral trade and financial interaction and address related impediments, IRNA reported. During his two-day visit to Afghanistan, Torkan is scheduled to hold meetings with the Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah and the neighboring country’s Minister of Finance Eklil Ahmad Hakimi.
