A new concrete runway is under construction in Ramsar International Airport and will cost $4.2 million, IRNA reported. Ramsar is a tourist hub in the northern Mazandaran Province on the coast of the Caspian Sea. The airport is currently used for private and sport flights. It also operates weekly flights to Tehran. The new runway would make way for an increase the number of flights.
