The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has appointed four new commercial attachés to Nigeria, Algeria, the city of Basra in Iraq and Herat in Afghanistan. The new appointments bring the total number of trade envoys in foreign countries to 24, ISNA reported. The envoys are tasked with introducing the host countries with trade and investment opportunities in Iran and vice versa, especially so considering the opening up of Iran’s economy following the removal of international economic and banking sanctions  after the landmark deal signed with world powers last year.
