Non-oil exports surpassed $27 billion in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-October 23), registering a 19 percent growth compared to the same period last year, IRNA reported on Monday. Valliollah Afkhami-Rad, the head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran named China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and India as the biggest consumers of Iranian non-oil products. He said that over the seven-month period $30 billion of goods were imported, indicating a 25 percent rise compared to the same period last year. The official also announced that currently, half of the registration certificates of imports are issued online and the rest are set to be mechanized within a month. “To receive their certificates, soon importers will not be required to present their documents to affiliated organizations in person,” he underlined.
