The Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture accepted its president’s resignation at a meeting on Sunday.

ICCIMA representatives set September 4 as a date for electing a new chief following the shock resignation of Mohsen Jalalpour earlier this month. Citing ill health, Jalalpour stepped down as both the president of ICCIMA and Kerman Province Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. He was appointed ICCIMA head in June 2015 for a four-year term, Mehr News Agency reported.
