Head of the Planning and Budget Organization of Iran Mohammad Baqer Nobakht on Saturday named Omid-Ali Parsa as the new director of the Statistical Center of Iran. Parsa is an economist and has already served as the chief of Management and Planning Organization in Mazandaran Province. Adel Azar, the former head of SCI, was appointed director general of the Supreme Audit Court by the parliament last month, IRNA reported.
