Iran exported 305,200 tons of non-oil goods worth $137.4 million to Taiwan during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21) indicating a threefold rise in value compared to last year’s corresponding period, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported. Steel and steel products, lead, zinc, ammonia, polyethylene, stone and pistachio were among the main exports. Meanwhile, more than 52,900 tons of goods worth $128.7 million were imported from the East Asian country, posting a 23% decline in value year-on-year. The main imports included computer parts, stainless steel products, synthetic fabric and polystyrene.
