An international forum dubbed ‘Showcase Iran 2016’ has been scheduled for London October 3-4 with the aim of helping UK and European businesses explore investment opportunities in Iran after the lifting of international sanctions . The sanctions were lifted in January as part of last year’s nuclear deal Tehran signed with the six world powers (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) in return for curbs on its nuclear program. According to Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture news service, economic stakeholders from Iran and the UK will discuss possibilities of cooperation in 30 investment projects to be introduced by TCCIMA during the two-day event. The forum is co-organized by British investor relations specialist and organizer of financial conferences, investor roadshows and match-making services, Frontier Exchange; and the Intelligent Persian Corporation, an Iranian company providing financial services.
