Tehran will host the first international exhibition of leather, accessories, shoes and related Industries on Nov. 17-20 at the Tehran International Fair Ground, MNA reported. Over 135 domestic and foreign producers from Italy, Turkey, China, Iraq, Germany and France are to present their latest products in this exhibition. The presence of a 40-member Italian trade delegation is one of the highlights of the event. Iran with a background of three thousand years is the first and oldest leather producer in the world. Iranians used hide for making clothes, shoes and weaponry before the Christian era.
