Iran-South Korea relations should move beyond trade and expand into cooperation in different fields of science, industry, agriculture and medicine, says the Korean Ambassador Kim Seung-ho. He noted that bilateral trade reached $17.4 billion in 2011, but reduced to one-fourth after the imposition of sanctions against Iran over its nuclear energy program. “Now the two countries are willing to expand economic interaction,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
