ICCIMA Names Honorary Chairman

The board of directors of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture named Mohsen Jalalpour Sunday as the honorary chairman of ICCIMA and said the new president of Iran’s private sector authority will be elected next month. After serving for 14 months as ICCIMA chief, Jalalpour announced his surprise resignation on grounds of ill health earlier this month, only to be rejected by the chamber’s board. He also served as the head of Kerman Province Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, from which he has also stepped down.
