Iran-Afghan Economic Commission to Convene

Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli and Afghanistan’s Minister of Finance Eklil Ahmad Hakimi will co-chair the fifth meeting of Iran-Afghanistan Economic Cooperation Commission after a four-year hiatus on August 9 and 10 in Tehran. Cooperation opportunities in different fields of energy, water and environment, transportation and transit will be discussed by several working groups during the meeting, IRNA reported. Over 50 public organizations and executives of government-run economic entities will take part.
