Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will lead an economic delegation to Latin America on August 21. During the week-long visit the team will call on senior officials in Cuba, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia, ISNA reported. Members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Trade representing Iran’s private sector in major industries, namely mining, petrochemical, oil, pharmaceutical and medical equipment, agriculture and food, transportation and finance will accompany Zarif on the tour. The visit comes after the foreign minister led a 70-member political-economic delegation to West Africa last month visiting Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea-Conakry and Mali.
