Kenya and Iran are pursuing trade ties to boost their exports, as they seek more opportunities in agro processing, textiles, leather and extractive industries. Speaking during a bilateral trade meeting in Nairobi, the East African country’s Industry and Trade Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohamed said Kenya is keen to enhance trade relations with Iran, the Nairobi-based news outlet The Star reported. An Iranian delegation led by Minister of Industries, Trade and Mining Mohammad Reza Nezmatzadeh is in Kenya to seek attractive investment opportunities.
