Iran exported more than 2,650 tons of goods valued at $7.9 million to the United Kingdom during the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), registering a %16.4 decline over last year’s corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show. The main exported commodities included polyethylene film, stone, dried fruit and vegetable, caviar, saffron and dates. Iran also imported more than 387,600 tons of commodities worth $133.68 million from the UK during the same period, which indicates a 4.3% increase year-on-year. Corn fodder, soybeans, soybean meal, turkey, eggs, pharmaceuticals and machinery parts were the main imported commodities.
