Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia left Tehran for Nairobi on Monday morning to attend the 14th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development on July 12-22. The event, themed “From Decision to Action: Moving Toward an Inclusive and Equitable Global Economic Environment for Trade and Development”, has attracted top officials from 194 countries who hope to agree on a win-win formula for trade, Mehr News Agency reported. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon presided over the opening of UNCTAD I4 on Sunday. The weeklong conference will feature ministerial debates, high-level roundtables, thematic events, a World Investment Forum and a Civil Society Forum, among other events.
