The government will allocate 2,000 billion rials (about $57 million at market exchange rates) in loans to marine industries in the current Iranian year (March 2016-17), says the managing director of Iran Marine Fund, Mehrdad Mozaffari. The loans will be granted to the shipbuilding and repair sectors as well as those engaged in the development of marine infrastructure and equipment, IRNA quoted Mozaffari as saying.
