A trade fair featuring Iranian-made products has started its operations in Tajikistan on Wednesday in the presence of Khorasan Razavi Governor, Alireza Rashidian. Some 84 Iranian companies have presented their products and services, including industrial machinery, home appliances, construction materials, technical and engineering services, energy, foodstuffs, detergents and handicrafts. In the opening ceremony, Rashidian said the current volume of trade exchange between Iran and Tajikistan was satisfactory. He said that officials from both sides are determined to expand economic cooperation in the future, adding that businessmen and manufacturers from the private sectors can play a significant role in helping the governments of Iran and Tajikistan achieve this goal.
