Iran’s First Small Industries and Machinery Expo was inaugurated in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, by deputy minister of industries, mining and trade, Valiolah Afkhamirad, and his Afghan counterpart Khan Jan Alokozai on Saturday. Forty-six Iranian and Afghan small enterprises are showcasing their latest products in the three-day event. “Iran’s machinery and production line equipment presented in this expo are tailored for use in Afghanistan’s factories,” Afkhamirad was quoted as saying by IRNA. Iran-Afghanistan trade stands at about $2 billion a year.
