AMTECH Scheduled for February 2017

The Sixth Amusement and Attractions Industry, Parks and Playgrounds Exhibition–AMTECH, for short–is scheduled to be held in Tehran, Iran, on February 16-19, 2017. The exhibition gained prominence this year when the fifth event was attended by a sudden influx of international amusement industry visitors hot on the heels of the announcement of the relaxing of trade sanctions on Iran, UK-based InterGame Ltd.’s news portal for coin-operated amusement and online gaming industries reported. The exhibition is to be held at Tehran’s International Permanent Fairground. In 2016, the event attracted about 100 exhibitors from Italy, Taiwan, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands and China. Visitors, including many from neighboring countries, totaled 5,000, according to the organizers.
