Iran to Export 5,000 Tons of Hydrogen Peroxide

With the opening of Iran’s first hydrogen peroxide production unit in Tabriz, capital of East Azarbaijan Province, on Friday, the country will turn from an importer to an exporter of the product, according to the minister of cooperatives, labor and social welfare.
“The production unit has the capacity of producing some 20,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide per year, the surplus of which, amounting to 5,000 tons, will be exported to Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan,” ISNA also quoted Ali Rabiei as saying.
The minister added that the unit has created 100 direct and 1,500 indirect jobs.
