Iran and Azerbaijan have signed an agreement to boost cooperation in road transportation. The agreement was reached during a two-day meeting of the Iran-Azerbaijan Road Transport Commission held in Tehran on July 11-12. According to Mohammad Javad Atrchian, who chairs the commission, the agreement entails exchange of information and statistics among other measures to facilitate cross-border passenger and cargo transportation, IRNA reported.
