Date production and exports are expected to rise in the current Iranian year (March 2016-17). According to the Agriculture Ministry, the output is estimated to increase by 100,000 tons from last year to reach 1.18 million tons, while exports will increase from 170,000 to 200,000 tons, ISNA reported.
