Iran exported more than $800 million worth of food and agricultural products during the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), which indicates a 4.6% increase compared to last year’s corresponding period, Mehr News Agency reported. Horticultural products accounted for the majority of exports (43%), followed by poultry (26.5%) and grains (25.7%). Other major exports included apples, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, yogurt, tomato paste, milk, cabbage and dates.
