Tehran is scheduled to host the International Exhibition of Road Construction and Maintenance, Transportation and Related Industries on December 18-20. Participants will showcase products and services, including machinery used in the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, road maintenance equipment and construction materials during the three-day event. According to Mehr News Agency, the exhibition was organized with the aim of developing Iran’s transport sector, attracting foreign investment, promoting the use of latest global transportation technologies and paving the way for an increase in exports. Roads account for 90% of freight transportation in Iran.
