Iran and Ukraine surveyed ways of expanding cooperation in a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, aviation, chemicals and banking, in a meeting held in Tehran on Sunday. The meeting was attended by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Iran Sergei Buldiliak and the head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Valiollah Afkhamirad, IRNA reported. “Ukraine is willing to expand relations with Iran in different areas. We are prepared to guarantee our cooperation in the field of foodstuff,” Buldiliak said.
The ambassador noted that the National Bank of Ukraine is ready to boost interactions with Iran.
Noting that Iran is a safe country to invest in, Afkhamirad said easing visa regulations, expanding banking relations and granting incentives to economic players from the two sides are among the main measures that need to be taken for enhancement of bilateral ties.
