Close to 200 entrepreneurs, business experts and representatives of banks, industries and companies from the Italian region of Emilia Romagna attended a meeting titled “Trade and Investment Relations with Iran: The Case of Emilia Romagna in Bologna” in the regional capital to explore investment and production opportunities in Iran on Friday. Iranian Ambassador to Italy Jahanbakhsh Mozaffari, among other representatives from Iran, was also present in the meeting, IRNA reported. “We estimate that Italian exports to Iran will reach €3 billion in the next four years and our investments in that country will significantly increase,” said president of the Commission for Internationalization of Confindustria Emilia Romagna, Gino Cocchi. Such meetings are also scheduled to be held at Parma Industrial Association on June 20 and the Confindustria Ravenna on June 27.
