About 168,000 tons of agricultural products (3.2% of Iran’s overall agro exports) worth $175 million were exported from Alborz in the last Iranian year (March 2015-16), according to the province’s Agricultural Jihad Organization. There are 75,000 hectares of farmlands in Alborz, which is located to the west of Tehran Province, Mehr News Agency reported.
