The World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC) said Iran will host the 10th International Conference of Coastal and Port Engineering in Developing Countries, otherwise known as PIANC-COPEDEC 2020. “Simultaneously, the 14th International Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structure will also be held in Tehran,” IRNA quoted Mohammad Reza Allahyar, director general for Costal and Port Engineering of Iran, as saying. Established in 1885, PIANC is a non-political and non-profit organization that designs, develops and maintains ports, waterways and coastal areas.
