Iran’s Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak are scheduled to meet on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, to be held June 16-18, 2016. The two ministers will survey opportunities for cooperation in different areas between the two sides, IRNA reported. Nematzadeh will be leading a high-ranking Iranian delegation to the forum. The SPIEF has been held in St. Petersburg every year since 1997 and under the auspices of the Russian president since 2005. Each year, more than 4,000 people from over 60 countries take part. The forum brings together the chief executives of major Russian and international companies, heads of state, political leaders, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, departmental ministers and governors.
