An international airport in Chabahar Free Zone in the southern Sistan-Baluchestan Province will be constructed in 18 months, according to Mohammad Hossein Malekzadegan, a board member at Chabahar Free Zone Organization. He said the airport has been designed and the relevant permits have been issued, ISNA reported. In the next step, the organization will tender projects for the construction of different sections of the airport, including runway, apron, terminals and control tower.
