Iran’s annual demand for steel pipes and profiles is close to 1.8 million tons, according to Bahram Sobhani, the managing director of Mobarakeh Steel Company. In order to meet this demand, Iran’s Syndicate of Steel Pipe and Profile Manufacturers requires 2 million tons of steel sheets per year, which will be supplied by MSC, Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe Mill Company and Gilan Steel Complex in the current Iranian year (March 2016-17).
