Bilateral trade with Turkey reached $2.9 billion during the first four months of 2016, posting a 17% decline compared with the similar period of a year before, Turkish Statistical Institute’s data showed. Turkish exports to Iran soared 25% to stand at $1.4 billion, IRNA reported. Iran’s exports to the neighboring country, however, fell 37% to reach $1.5 billion, mainly as a result of falling oil prices.
