German Firms will invest 25,000 billion rials (around $719 million) in two major industrial projects in Fars Province, says the head of Industries, Mining and Trade Organization of the province.
“The first is a $678.74 million project on manufacturing solar cells and panels that will create as many as 560 jobs. The second is a gypsum board production project by joint venture Knauf Iran Company. Germans will provide $18.1 million for this project, which is expected to add 250 jobs to the economy,” IRNA also quoted Ali Hemmati as saying.
