Figures released by the European Union statistical office and the German-Iranian Chamber of Commerce on Thursday say German exports to Iran significantly rose during the first half of this year – which started on March 21. Germany exported more than € 1.244 billion to Iran during the first half of the year, up nearly 35% from the similar period in 2013. Prior to anti-Iran sanction, Iran imported some €1.5 billion worth of German goods.
