Strawberry production stood at 56,000 tons in the last Iranian year (March 2015-16), with Kurdestan Province accounting for 40,000 tons of the figure, says Reza Rouyintan, an official with Agriculture Ministry. He added that exports amounted to 50,000 tons, Mehr News Agency reported.
